I had been grinding my teeth at night and clenching my jaw during the day when stressed for about 2.5 years. Initially, fitted with a very basic mouth guard for night times the pain became unbearable. After an MRI the doctor referred me to the Eastman Dental Hospital with sever degenerative and irreparable damage in both jaw joints caused by my bad habit. Numerous arthroscopies under general anaesthetic did nothing but after a few sessions of hypnotherapy with Paula I was able to understand what was going on in my life was crucially connected to the grinding and clenching. Paula spent time not only hypnotising me but working through my anxieties at the start and end of the sessions. We pin pointed issues and Paula helped me to think of ways I could improve my situation. She recorded the sessions so I could listen to these when I had a spare 20 minutes in my day and signposted me to useful mindfulness resources I still use today for my own wellbeing. Together with some steroid injections the pain has diminished and I don’t appear to be grinding and gritting at all! Thank you Paula.

I suffered with IBS for years to the point that it was controlling my life.
